REFLECTION
Experience: Immersing myself in this module was an immensely enjoyable journey. While each assignment demanded meticulous attention to detail and a significant investment of time, the overall experience was rewarding. Among the various projects, the stop motion assignment stands out as a personal favorite. Creating something to raise awareness about the situation in Palestine felt meaningful, adding a layer of purpose to the learning process. Additionally, the self-titled TikTok project provided a unique opportunity for self-expression, making it another highlight.
Observation: A key takeaway from this module was the importance of applying the knowledge gained in lectures to breathe life into creative ideas and craft compelling videos. The realization dawned upon me that I had developed a habit of mentally dissecting the structure of videos, applying the 3-act structure framework, even when casually watching content. This observation underscored the practical value of the theoretical concepts learned during the course.
Findings: Discovering my affinity for this module was a pleasant surprise. The desire to create my own content in the future, applying the skills and insights acquired, is a promising prospect. It became evident that this learning journey was not just about completing assignments but fostering a passion for video creation and storytelling. I look forward to translating this newfound enthusiasm into real-world projects.
