•Realism versus Surrealism: Realism focuses on ordinary and common subject matters, while Surrealism explores the subconscious mind and distorts reality.
•Surrealism defies logic: Inspired by dreams and the subconscious, Surrealism features strange images and bizarre juxtapositions.
•Fueled by Freud and Dada: Surrealists like Salvador Dalí embraced free association and dream imagery.
•Dadaism: An anti-war art movement characterized by satirical and nonsensical artworks.
•Digital Surrealism: A popular art style in the digital era, blending dream-like scenes, unexpected juxtapositions, and primitive designs.
•Creating Surrealism artworks: Start by sketching out key points of your vision and gather reference images for inspiration.
•The Surrealist mindset: Aim for convincing realism while recognizing that the subject matter is nonexistent.
