•The Lasso Tool is ideal for drawing and making selections, especially when using a graphic tablet.

•The Pen Tool is commonly used to create paths and shapes with precise anchor points.

•The Bézier Game is a helpful tool for mastering the Pen Tool.

•The Pen Tool can be used to create selections, but it was not originally designed for that purpose.

•Layers in Photoshop allow for non-destructive editing and multiple images stacked on top of each other.

The Importance of Layers in Photoshop

•Your adjustments in Photoshop will never destroy the original image.

•The layers in Photoshop contain all the extra information and/or images that you want to add to the original file.

These are the 3 compositions I came up with

COMPOSITION #1

DESCRIPTION: In this composition I decided to split the building in half and have elements coming out of the building. I also split the boy and the woman in half and had the seperate body parts coming out from opposites sides of the split buiding. I feel like this added character to to the composition

COMPOSITION #2

COMPOSITION #3

REFLECTION

I’ve learnt how to create good composition using symmetry , rule of thirds and golden ratio. I’ve also Learnt how to use layers to create an interesting collage .My creative thinking as well as critical thinking was used in this exercise as I developed different ideas and made sure they were aesthetically pleasing and that there is a good focal point in each piece. Patience is also key especially when using the pen tool
